How are waitlists handled?

When a class is full, new bookings join the waitlist with a position number. On cancellation, the next person is auto-promoted and notified via SMS / email. Members can opt out of waitlist auto-booking if they don't want last-minute commitments.

How does check-in work at the door?

Two patterns. QR code: member shows the code in the app, the front desk scans with a tablet. Or member ID: front desk types it into a check-in screen. Both verify membership status and class booking, mark attendance, and reject lapsed members.

Can I sell drop-in passes alongside memberships?

Yes. Add a "passes" model: pack of 5 / 10 / 20 classes with expiry. Members buy via Stripe Checkout, balance decrements per booked class. Drop-in pricing per single class also supported. Webtwizz scaffolds both flows.

How do I handle membership freezes / cancellations?

Stripe Subscriptions supports pause via API. Member requests freeze in their portal, the subscription pauses for N months, classes are blocked during freeze. For cancellations, customer portal handles it - subscription ends at period end, member retains access until then.
